Santa Barbara Paralegal Association is very proud that we give back to the community of Santa Barbara in various ways.
2023 SBPA Scholarship
The Santa Barbara Paralegal Association is pleased to announce the return of our annual scholarship, wherein paralegal students can participate in an essay to win a monetary prize. This year we will select TWO winners to receive a prize of $500.00.
Please see below for scholarship requirements:
In 500 words or less, describe a time when you used the top two skills you learned at school or in your paralegal job to complete a difficult task. Explain the outcome and how the skills you used helped you achieve success.
Essay submissions are due on or before November 30, 2023. Please also include proof of paralegal student status. The winners will be announced December 8, 2023. Please send your essays to SBPA President Andrea Johnson at ajohnson@sbcalaw.com.
SBPA Scholarship Opportunities
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
