ASSOCIATE Members: Attorneys and other members of the legal community who endorse the paralegal profession
STUDENT Members: Students currently enrolled in a Paralegal Education Program
SUSTAINING Members: Individuals who or business entities that endorse the paralegal concept and are interested in supporting the goals of the SBPA

All currently practicing paralegals and legal assistants who comply with California Business and Professions Code Section 6450 provisions and who so certify to SBPA.

Student (non-voting)
Persons presently enrolled and participating in a paralegal certificate or degree program which meets the requirements of California Business and Professions Code Section 6450.

Associate (non-voting)
Legal assistants and paralegals who currently are non-compliant with California Business and Professions Code Section 6450, members of a bar association, legal educators, legal secretaries, other legal staff and law school students who support or are involved in the promotion of the paralegal / legal assistant profession.

Any individual or business that supports the paralegal profession and shares the mission of the Santa Barbara Paralegal Association is invited to become a sustainer.
